A Tricolored Heron at the rookery near Bradenton, Fl.
Taken at Myakka River State Park. I know it's a little fuzzy but I was rushed to get the shot before the fawn moved back into the brush. Had to back up on the main "scenic" drive to get an open view...with the 400mm hanging out the window of my vehicle.
Here is the female Osprey on her nest with the three chicks showing. The one closest to the adult is chowing down on a fresh fish.
Another American Egret in flight.
A juvinile Roseate Spoonbill in flight. Taken from the Photo Boat with a Nikon D7100 w/Nikkor 80-400 AF VR lens.
Half of a mating pair of Hawks that have been in the neighborhood for the past couple of years.
Mourning Dove on the feeder in the backyard.
Another GBH stalking the shallows for a snack
Same location as yesterday, different log, different gator...they're everywhere....
