Dennis Warren > The Mockingbird - the State Bird of Florida. As the name suggests, the mocking of other bird's songs is what give this bird it's name.

I will be on vacation in Minnesota for the next 10 days, so my posting and commenting will be restricted. Hopefully I will have some nice photos to post when I return.

Dennis Warren > I rescued this little guy from the pool yesterday, and placed him in a bush outside the patio. He posed for me in return.

Dennis Warren > The biggest differences between squirrels and rats are 1. bushy tails, 2. I don't mind rats....The title to this shot is..."Damned little rodents". He's trying to figure out how to get to the bird feeder after we installed a baffel to deter squirrels. Next step will be the rifle!!

Thanks so much for the comments on my Great Blue Heron and Art show shots yesterday. BTW, the Heron is still with us. Those gators are so well fed and fat they won't extend the energy necessary to catch a healthy bird.
