Dennis Warren > Playing with the HDR. Gotta drive to the office this morning so no time for comments till later.

Thanks for all the comments on my rodent shot yesterday...about the only thing squirrels are good for is an occassional photo. Should have added crosshairs to the shot.
Dennis Warren > The biggest differences between squirrels and rats are 1. bushy tails, 2. I don't mind rats....The title to this shot is..."Damned little rodents". He's trying to figure out how to get to the bird feeder after we installed a baffel to deter squirrels. Next step will be the rifle!!

Thanks so much for the comments on my Great Blue Heron and Art show shots yesterday. BTW, the Heron is still with us. Those gators are so well fed and fat they won't extend the energy necessary to catch a healthy bird.
Dennis Warren > As we were leaving the Gasparilla Art Festival in Tampa, Fl. I decided to take a shot from the parking garage to share. The building to the right is the Tampa Museum of Art, on the left is the Glazer Children's Museum, across the river (The Hillsborough River) you can see the minerettes of the University of Tampa. This is a beautiful venue for a fantastic art show which happens each year about this time. BTW, this shows less than half the vendors tents.
Dennis Warren > A Great Blue Heron, stretching, nervously. Take a close look at the background!!! Danger Great Blue, DANGER!!!

Thank you so much for the views and comments on my recent posts.
Dennis Warren > Ok...today I show a little attitude. A photo of a gator with text added for a little commentary. The slogan is from Kodak many years ago...but the concept is worth repeating.

Thank you all for the many wonderful comments and views on my BF shot yesterday.
Dennis Warren > Another Butterfly Rainforest shot. An unusually color on this BF. I was told by one of the workers that the only time this BF is still is when it's not eating. Which is about all they do BTW.

Thanks so much for the views and comments on my recent post. You guys are awsome.
Dennis Warren > Another shot from the Butterfly Rainforest.

Thank you all for the many comments on my recent posts.
Dennis Warren > Here's my o"K" shot for the day...can't believe I said that!!! I call this one "alone".

Thanks for all the comments on my foggy harbor shot and the late night moon shot from yesterday.
Dennis Warren > I decided to go out and look at the moon tonight.

Thanks for all the comments on my foggy morning shot earlier today.
Dennis Warren > Another foggy morning in the harbor.

Thank you for all of the wonderful comments on my butterfly post yesterday.
Dennis Warren > A little change of pace today. I spent Saturday at the Butterfly Rainforest, a part of the Fl. Museum of Natural History, at the University of Florida (GO GATORS!).

Again, thanks so much for your wonderful comments on the Egret's mating dance.
Dennis Warren > I realize now, that many of you have never seen the mating ritual of the American Egret. This photo attempts to capture the "dance". The Egret begins from a crouched position and repeatedly extends legs and neck while pointing the beak skyward. This is all an effort to attract a mating partner.

Thank you all for the many wonderful comments on the mating display shot from yesterday, Yes..SEX does sell !!! (or in this case, just generate interest) :-)
Dennis Warren > Another Photo-Boat shot. An American Egret "dispalying" as part of it's mating ritual.

Thanks for all the comments on yesterdays post.
Dennis Warren > Another shot from the Photo-Boat. An American Egret bringing nest building material back to the rookery.
The softness of the shot and the flat background is due to the very overcast weather. The trip was cut a little short due to rain coming in from the Gulf of Mexico.

Thanks so much for all the comments on yesterdays "laughing" spoonbill.
Dennis Warren > A spoonbill "laughing" at the silly photographers...

Thanks you all for the wonderful comments on the spoonbill I posted yesterday.
Another Photo-Boat shot. An American Egret "dispalying" as part of it's mating ritual.

Thanks for all the comments on yesterdays post.
