Dennis Warren > Another shot from the Photo-Boat. An American Egret bringing nest building material back to the rookery.
The softness of the shot and the flat background is due to the very overcast weather. The trip was cut a little short due to rain coming in from the Gulf of Mexico.

Thanks so much for all the comments on yesterdays "laughing" spoonbill.
Dennis Warren > A spoonbill "laughing" at the silly photographers...

Thanks you all for the wonderful comments on the spoonbill I posted yesterday.
Dennis Warren > A shot taken on the Photo-Boat. A Roseate Spoonbill headed to the rookery.

Thanks for all the comments on my recent posts.
Dennis Warren > Gee. to see stuff like this you just gotta be out there... WOW. This little gator (about 3.5 feet) climbed up on top of a turtle to get some sun. What balance!!! OR, does he think he is warming his lunch???

Thanks so much for all the comments and views on my photos yesterday. You guys are the greatest.
Dennis Warren > A foggy morning on the bay.

WOW. I was overwhelmed by the comments on my water drop shot. Very surprised to see it at the #6 spot when I logged in this morning. Thanks also for the comments on the Egret and gate shots. You guys are the greatest.
Dennis Warren > Rainy day so....who said water drops (glycerin actually) had to be round?
Dennis Warren > Another shot from the Photo-Boat. An American Egret bringing nest building material back to the rookery.

Thanks so much for the wonderful comments on my fair shot and the Great Blue Heron yesterday.
Dennis Warren > Great Blue Heron - windblown and frazzled by the nestbuilding and mating routines. Taken from the PhotoBoat (Bob Salyers Photography).

Thanks for the comments on my recent posts.
Dennis Warren > Late posting today...I spent last evening at the Florida State Fair, taking motion shots of the rides. Here is a combination of three shots of one of the Ferris Wheels. Got up early this morning for a trip to the rookeries on the PhotoBoat.

Thanks for the comments on my Egret in Flight shot.
Dennis Warren > An American Egret in flight. Got a little to much sun on the head and left wing, but that's the kind of day it was. Typical Florida day.
Thanks so much for all of the comments on yesterdays head shot.
Dennis Warren > Head shot of an American Egret.
Thanks for all the comments on the gators and the Night Heron yesterday.
Dennis Warren > Enough with the gators already...lets look at some gator food ! A Black Crowned Night Heron, patiently stalking his lunch.

Thanks so much for all the comments, and concerns about the gator shots from yesterday.
Dennis Warren > Most comments on my last post seem to think there were a lot of gators in the shot...so I thought I would post a wider view of the sunning area for "small" gators.

Thanks for the comments and concerns for my safety. Actually the only thing in jeapordy was the yippy little mutt that always seemed to be next to me!!!
Dennis Warren > One of the first sights when entering Gatorland are the holding areas for the "smaller" gators. There are turtles in the same holding areas with them.

Thanks so much for all the comments on my SciFi pic from yesterday.
Dennis Warren > I titled this shot "Science Fiction". This is the sort of thing that you would expect to be made up in hollywood minds. The head of a soft shelled turtle.

Thanks for all the kind comments on yesterdays post. And sorry for the wide difference in "prettyness" between this and yesterdays post.
