Dennis Warren > Caught this guy hunting over a local pond. An Osprey...also called "fish eagle" locally. They reportedly only eat fish.

Dennis Warren > Taken from the airplane as we lifted off from Tampa International Airport.

Thanks for your comments on my festival shot yesterday. It was a great festival.
Dennis Warren > Spent Saturday at the Hyde Park Art Festival. Great weather for a great show.
Dennis Warren > A shot taken a few minutes ago of the crescent moon. Not enough field of view to get Venus in the shot. Been having some trouble holding the Celestron C90 still on my tripod, so I purchased a surveyors tripod and mounted it more or less permanently. Now if I could just see well enough to focus....
Dennis Warren > Over the river...thru the bridge...into Wisconsin we go....

Thanks for your comments.
Dennis Warren > The old mill house, Stillwater, MN.

Thanks for the comments on my previous posts.
Dennis Warren > Old town America. Stillwater, MN has evolved into a shopping destination. And since this is typically a chick thing, businesses to aide them have sprung up. Notice the sign in the window of this pub. A husband Daycare Center.

Thank you for all the comments of my photos, you guys are the best.
Dennis Warren > Different view of the same bridge I posted yesterday. Surprised this shot isn't super blurry...after I climbed about a million steps to get to the top of the hill...my legs were shaking from fatique, don't these people have elevators??? Minnesota on the left, Wisconsin on the right. St Criox river in the middle.

Thank you all for all the wonderful comments yesterday. I had over 30...something of a record for me.
Dennis Warren > Bridge from Stillwater, MN going into Wisconsin. Over the St. Croix river.

Thanks for all the comments on my photos, seem that you guys are going way back in the galleries and pulling up a lot of memories. Thanks.

Dennis Warren > Here is an old structure I found along the roadside in MN. I used PS Content Aware to remove a mailbox and a poster that distracted from the texture of the old wood.
If current legislation is passed (in several states) photos like this maybe in jeopardy. Landscape photographers should be aware of these "farm land protection" measures.
Basically, they say that photos of "farm land", or "farming operations" cannot be taken without the owners permission.
Many landscape venues could be off limits if they include any "farm land".
Dennis Warren > Power plant on the St Croix river outside StillWater, MN.
Dennis Warren > Whoa...I'm back from vacation (barely)...here's a shot (SOOC) of a Minnesota sunset.
Dennis Warren > Got ready a little early this morning, so I'm posting the Friday abstract.

Now I'm off to the airport.
Dennis Warren > Not sure if I'll have time to post one in the morning before leaving for the airport, so I'll share this one this evening. From the Butterfly Rainforest.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments yesterday. I think I had 5 shots in the 300 most popular...WOW!!!
