Dennis Warren > Locally referred to as the honeymoon suite...At Cedar Key, Fl. Looks like it has had some "rough" use!!!
Dennis Warren > Another shot of the red dragon...this time "alone".
Dennis Warren > I went specifically to capture dragonflies on this trip...a special place where they are usually very abundant. This is my first success in capturing one (two) in flight. Guess they were moving a little more slowly while engaged with each other !! I feel like a voyeur.
Dennis Warren > Snowy Egret on the rocks. At Fort DeSoto Park. He looks a little angry because he's having to share the rocks with about a dozen Brown Pelicans.
Dennis Warren > Using his bad boy will force you to learn many things about photography.

Dennis Warren > Couldn't resist taking this shot...The Egret just looks so fed up with all the attention.
Dennis Warren > This is a battery pack of sorts. It provides AC power. Purchased from http://paulcbuff.com/ in order to power studio strobes in the field
Dennis Warren > This is my standard "long distance" shoot setup. Nikon D300s/Nikon 80-400 AFVR lens. The small rectangular object attached to the strap is a flash light used for set up on night shoots.I use the Cokin filter system which you see attached to the front of the lens, along with a circular polerizer
Dennis Warren > A Snowy Egret captured at the lagoon at Ft DeSoto park.
Dennis Warren > This is my "event" setup. The bracket allows a 90 degree shift in the camera position while leaving the flash above. The project of documenting my equipment has become more monumental than I had invisioned...I got a lot of stuff It's gonna take a while.
Dennis Warren > My setup to document all of my photo equipment and collection. An "old" Nikon D70 with 50-200 micro Tamron lense mouned on a Paul C. Buff "Alien Bee" Ringlight. New gallery to store results soon.
Dennis Warren > TriColored Heron in really bad light...best I could do with this one.
Dennis Warren > In my quest to find the birds, I see a lot of this type of habitat.

Thank you for the comments on my Egret portrait.
Dennis Warren > Sunset over the railroad bridge. A little different photo this time. Met with the Florida Center for Creative Photography meetup group tonight for a feet-on-the-street shoot in downtown Tampa.

A five shot HDR processed in Photomatix Pro 4.2.1, Painterly 2 preset.
Dennis Warren > Portrait of an American Egret.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments on my GBH shot yesterday.
